These terms govern your use of the Thumbsy web app (thumbsy.io) and the Thumbsy browser extension (together, “Thumbsy”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or installing the extension, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Thumbsy.
Thumbsy is a research tool for YouTube creators. The Chrome extension lets you save thumbnails while browsing YouTube, extract color palettes, and organize what you find. The web app lets you review, compare, and manage that library, and offers additional tools like similar-thumbnail search and the feed simulator.
You sign in with Google via Supabase Authentication. You’re responsible for keeping your account secure and for all activity that happens under it. You must be at least 13 years old to use Thumbsy.
Thumbsy offers a Free plan and a paid Pro plan. Pro subscriptions are billed through Stripe or Whop and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from your account settings or the billing portal; you’ll keep Pro access until the end of the current billing period. Prices may change going forward, but we’ll always give notice before a change affects an active subscription.
Use Thumbsy for its intended purpose: researching and organizing YouTube thumbnails for your own creative work. Don’t use it to scrape or resell data at scale, attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service, infringe on others’ intellectual property, or violate YouTube’s own Terms of Service while using our extension. We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the service or break these rules.
Thumbnails, notes, boards, and other content you save remain yours. By saving content to Thumbsy, you give us permission to store and display it back to you as part of the service. We don’t claim ownership over anything you save, and we don’t use it for any purpose beyond running the product — see our Privacy Policy for details.
Thumbnail images themselves are the property of their original creators or YouTube. Thumbsy is a personal research tool — you’re responsible for how you use any content you save.
We aim to keep Thumbsy reliable, but we don’t guarantee uninterrupted access. Features may change, and we may add, modify, or remove parts of the service as it evolves. We’ll do our best to give notice of major changes.
Thumbsy is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. We’re not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Nothing here limits liability that can’t legally be limited.
If we make material changes to these terms, we’ll update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use Thumbsy after a change means you accept the updated terms.
